A Headline is the most important element in your Copy: words and phrases have the power to grab the attention of your Readers. In just few seconds, they might click-through and read more, or just leave the Page.

My very first Advice is to keep a Swipe File of any words and Phrase that you like, this would be a handy assortment of infallible adjectives, for you to use whenever you require inspiration on short notice. So, every time you read a Fashion magazine, you listen to the Radio or you Watch TV and you hear Catchy Words, write them down.  I do this too. I have a Red velvet NoteBook next to my TV, and it is full of handwritten notes, articles cut from the Magazines, Ripped Papers, you name it…. And you know what’s the best of all? That whenever I need inspiration, I always find something I like in this Red Book.

My second advice is to pay attention to your Audience. You must know for whom you are going to write to better create emotional connections. People have tendency to like others, because of some similarities they associate with themselves.

Say for example, you have a very enthusiast Reader and Advocate, She or He will love every post of every Party you will attend, outfit that will make you look fabulous, even if in the real life she or He is living in a very small town, with zero or very poor social life, some kilos to loose, the hairs always on a messy Pony tail, if She or He is convinced to be a Glam Goddess, with the Body of a VS Angel, and a busy Agenda as Anna Wintur, instead.

Your Headline should identify your Ideal prospect and speak directly to them. Who would be the Ideal Prospects for your Blog? What do they want?  Are they men, women, young, old, students, business owners, fashionistas, looking at fashion-for-less, journalists, PR agencies….so who you are trying to Impress?

This is what we call the Emotional Connection of the likeability. At the same time you can boost this similarities, by picking the topics of your articles thanks to some Keyword Research on Google Keywords Tool. Just to have an idea of themes on which your audience is paying attention and which keywords they use to research it.

Take note of these keywords and try to use them in your Title.
