In Only few minutes you can have your very own self-hosted WordPress Blog with your own domain. This article wil describe step by step how to install wordpress on your Â own domain, however before beginning make sure you have all your Mysql, FTP and Domain information at hand.
If you already have everything with you, than let’s download the latest version of WordPress form wordpress.org and unzip the WordPress package.
Look inside the Â downloaded Package, for the fileÂ named â€œ wp-config.sample.phpâ€
Open the file in a Â text editor such a DreamweaverÂ and enter your MySQL details:
Enter your MySQL details in the following 3 sections:
â–ªÂ Â Â Â Â Â DB_NAME
Enter Your database Â name here, the one you created in your Hosting Service
â–ªÂ Â Â Â Â Â DB_USER
Enter Your username here, the one you created for WordPress in your Hosting Service
â–ªÂ Â Â Â Â Â DB_PASSWORD
Enter Your Secure password here
A little further down you will find a section called ” SALTS” , you will need to replace the entire section with new codes. To generate yourÂ Â unique phrases go to Â the WordPress Secret Key Generator.
Copy the new codes and paste them in the DreamWeaver document.

Once done, Save the document under a new name â€œwp-config.phpâ€
Open your FTP client.
Enter the FTP details and access your Domain Name through your FTP
Drag your wordpress Package in the root directory.
Now you are ready to go online and visit:Â http://example.com/wp-admin
If you need to upload a Theme:
When still in the FTP server, once the wordpress package has been completed, open the WP-content file.
Open the Themes file
Drag your new theme here.
Go toÂ http://example.com/wp-admin
Enter your user name: genereally is ADMIN unless you change it
Enter your Password, the one you have entered in your MySQL database.
Now you can start create your WordPress Website or Blog.
