In order to Rank number 1 on Google the first thing to do is determine which keywords best describe your subject. Your website is most likely about a particular topic: Legal Marketing, Bars and Nightclub Social Media, DJ Public Relations, Kids Fashion Brands, Fashion Blog, Jewelry Brand … so regardless of your topic, the strategy would be always the same: the Keyword Selection is the most important factor for anybody’s Business! Build Curiosity, select Catchy Phrases, use the Keywords wisely  and your Website  will be working pretty quick.
TIP #1 – Do a Keyword Research
First thing, you need to connect emotionally with your readers and potential advertisers. Speaking as if you were a computer is not going to help you getting the results you are looking for. Take a piece a paper and a Pen and write down what drives or will drive your visitors to visit your Business and seek for your Product/service. Â There is always a need at the root of every search, you will have to be like a detective and identify the Problem they need to solve.
Our Web Site is all about Helping Out Aspiring Business Owners and Future Bloggers, in building a Presence Online, through a WebSite, a Web marketing Campaign and Social Media Communication. Each of these subjects cover the pain Ponits associated within, and covers the possible solutions. But it all come down to a Magic Ingredient: Keywords and Key Phrases!
Once you have identified the subject you want to research, you will be going to my Favorite Tool: “Google Keyword Tool†and start by asking the machine to give you the monthly searches related with the words you are typing.
As an example, one of my book is about HashTags for Fashion Bloggers, my keyword list will includes  any “Fashion Bloggers”  related terms and long tail keywords to search thanks to tools such as Google Keyword Tool or Word tracker:

Remember, your site has an extremely important purpose: to be found by visitors and to turn them into readers! The list can be quite long, you need to select only the ones that are really appealing and matching the Product  or Service that you are Selling. Next to each of the Keyword selected I will research the number of searches made per month ( on exact match). Don’t do Broad ( this is the Default setting, it will only confuses you). For this exercise it would be better to work with Excel sheets and remember that you can export these datas from the Google Keyword tool directly in Excel.
TIP #2 – Do an ALLINTITLE search
When is time to Rank number 1 on Google, the best tool is to find out who you are competing with for each keyword. If you fancy to have your website showing on Google First Page, you must choose Keywords with very high number of monthly search results versus a very low ALLINTITLE number of Google results. The ALLINTITLE numbers will tell you with how many  websites you are competing, on a specific keywords, on the Post Titles. As this is one of the most important factors in SEO, it will be much easier to Rank for Good position if you have little competition on Titles. Not many people use advanced search operators such as the ALLINTITLE search. So it’s important that your content rank well for the keywords you target.
- Access the Google Keyword Tool and search for the topic ( the term the best identify your Product topic).
- Open an excel sheet and export all the keywords you think they best identify your website on one column.
- Write down all the correspondent Monthly results on the second column.
- Go to GOOGLE
- Enter : Allintitle: ( the keyword you want to research, without the parenthesis)
- Compare the Number you get from Google keyword Tool vs the Allintitle
- In this way you will discover how many Sites compete with that Specific Keyword on the Title ( being the title one of the most Important factor of the Page)
- Choose ONLY keywords that result lower in Allintitle than in the Google Search Tool
- Choose ONLY Allintitle results lower than 3.000
ALLINTITLE:Â Your keyword.
As a Blogger looking for readers, or Business Owners looking for Customers it’s very important that you find the best  keyword that will make you shine in the SEO Crowd. Your most important keyword must is the one that goes in the title of each page and obviously your domain name, is part of that. So try to find that very unique word that better describes your business but that very few people have used in their title.
A good word is anything which is up to 3000 ALLINTITLEÂ Google results.
It could be something surprising, and will help you gaining you more readers than you could count, almost instantly. From my example above it is to recognize the GOOD COMBINATIONS, for example for †Catchy Catch Phrases†there are 2400 Monthly Searches vs. only 337  AllIntitle Google Results.  However there are only 260 Monthly Worldwide searches for †Catchy marketing Phrases†and 5.300.000 Allintitle Results: this is really a NO-GO Keyword to use!
Now that you have a good selection of Keywords, synonyms and related words, you will be able to use them throughout your Copy. There is no need to cram your Keywords everywhere you possibly can. In fact Key phrases don’t need to be in they original form, you can sprinkle the words, individually, all over your text.
You shall use the original Phrase that you are optimizing, one or twice  and then just use the individual words throughout the Copy. So, like it or not, getting those million internet surfers to check out your Website is not going to happen if you don’t do the right SEO from the start.
